The Ohio State men’s and women’s basketball teams have their conference schedules for the 2024-25 season.
With opponents being set back in May, the Big Ten released times and locations for its men’s and women’s conference schedules on Thursday.
The announcement completed the Ohio State men’s 31-game schedule for the season while the Ohio State women are still working to finalize their non-conference docket.

The men’s team opens conference play at Maryland on Dec. 4, then faces Rutgers on Dec. 7 before resuming non-conference play against Auburn on Dec. 14. Ohio State then launches into league action full-time on Jan. 3 against Michigan State.

Five Power Five schools – Texas, Texas A&M, Pitt, Auburn and Kentucky – are found within the 11-game non-conference schedule for the Buckeyes’ men. In conference play, Ohio State will play Indiana, Maryland and Nebraska twice; Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, Rutgers and Washington once at home; and Purdue, Illinois, Minnesota, Penn State, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin once on the road.
Ohio State’s women, conversely, only play Maryland twice. The Buckeyes have one game at home against Illinois, Northwestern, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Iowa, Purdue and Michigan State and one road game each with Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, UCLA, USC and Indiana.
