Ohio State football has dominated two straight games against top-ten foes, something not many thought it was capable of doing after losing to the Michigan Wolverines, a team that drastically missed its preseason expectations.
Ohio State’s final game of the season was disappointing, but the Buckeyes have bounced back with ease, taking down the Tennessee Volunteers in the first round of the College Football Playoffs and then beating the then-undefeated Oregon Ducks in the quarterfinal.
Ohio State’s strength coach, Mickey Marotti, summed it up perfectly with just a few words. “We had no choice. We had to respond,” Marotti said via ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
And respond they did.

The Buckeyes will have an even bigger battle ready for them Friday night as they head to Arlington for what will basically be a road game against the Texas Longhorns.
They should again respond as the Buckeyes may still have that loss against Michigan eating at them. Couple that with the most talented team in the country, and this team has all the weapons to reign supreme over the college ranks.
Let’s hope they take their play to that level on Friday.
