The 37-year-old has seen plenty of players come and go during that time, and he has competed against some of the greatest players of all time.
He has carved out a career as being the most successful player in history, having claimed more Grand Slam Slams and Masters 1000 titles than any other player.
Novak Djokovic thrives on the big stage and has illustrated his ability to produce best tennis when it matters against his greatest rivals.
Djokovic has achieved plenty of success in multiple tennis tournaments around the world.
One of his most successful tournaments is the Wimbledon Championships, where he has lifted the championship trophy on seven occasions.
This was the trophy he yearned for more than any other as a youngster, and he achieved that dream for the first time in 2011.
Therefore, Djokovic named the prestigious grass court tournament as his favourite Grand Slam venue in an interview uploaded to Instagram.
Four of his seven titles came against Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, the two players Djokovic named as greatest rivals during the same interview.
When asked what tennis rule he would like to change Djokovic stated that he would like alterations to ‘on court coaching’.
Djokovic has always been an advocate for on-court coaching, which is now in operation across the ATP Tour.
He did describe the new courtside coaching pod at the Australian Open as “a little bit of a strange experience”, but he was pleased to be able to receive advice from Andy Murray during his matches.
“I’m obviously thrilled to have him in my corner,” Djokovic said during his campaign at Melbourne Park. “I must say it was a little bit of a strange experience to have him courtside in my box.
“He gave me some great advice mid-match. He’s been doing really well. It’s been an enjoyable experience.”
