Novak Djokovic’s early exit from the Qatar Open may not be the only thing he needs to worry about.
The Serbian returned to action after suffering a hamstring injury which forced him to retire from his Australian Open semi-final.
Fans were surprised to see how quickly he recovered from the injury, especially given fears that he would be out of action for at least two months.
But now it appears that the 24-time Grand Salam champion is once again suffering from a physical issue as he left the Middle Eastern ATP 500 event.
Novak Djokovic showed no signs of any fitness corners during his Qatar Open match against Matteo Berrettini.
After Djokovic’s 6-7, 2-6 defeat, he said he is looking to improve his form as he heads further into the season.
But it now appears the 37-year-old could have suffered another injury setback as according to Spanish outlet AS, he was seen limping as entered Doha Airport.
It remains to be seen if Djokovic will provide a further fitness update and if his participation in the Indian Wells Masters and Miami Open is in doubt.

The Serbian suffered a surprise defeat to Luca Nardi at Indian Wells in 2024, and the Italian became the lowest-ranked player to beat Djokovic in a Grand Slam or ATP Masters 1000 level event.
Djokovic has not played in Miami since 2019, when he lost to Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut in three sets.
The former World number one has claimed Indian Wells title on five occasions, while the is a six-time Miami Open winner.
