As alluded to Latson has missed each of the last three games with an undisclosed injury. The Seminoles projected All-American guard leads the country in scoring with 26.2 points per game and is shooting 47.5% from the field. Hidalgo ranks second in the country in scoring at 24.7 points per game, just ahead of USC’s JuJu Watkins.

According to Notre Dame’s record book, the Irish lead the all-time series against the Seminoles 13-1 — which includes wins in each of the last two meetings. The Irish beat the Seminoles 98-94 in double overtime last season.
Peter Holland Jr., Tallahassee Democrat: Notre Dame 84, FSU 72
“This game obviously depends on the availability of Latson and Gordon. Regardless, this game could be overwhelming for the Seminoles because of the firepower Notre Dame has led by Hidalgo and the crew. After coming off a double-overtime defeat, the Fighting Irish will look to a strong start, shooting-wise, and the Seminoles will be put in a tough situation where they have to play catchup the ball the whole game.”
