SOUTH BEND, Ind. The Notre Dame men’s basketball team received a commitment Wednesday night from one of the best high school basketball players in the country.
Five star recruit Jalen Haralson announced his commitment to the Irish during a live presentation on social media from the La Lumiere School in LaPorte, Indiana.
The six foot seven inch Haralson is ranked as high as the no. 7 high school player in the country by one recruiting service, and he’s ranked in the top 20 by all the others in the class of 2025.
Haralson is the highest ranked recruit the Notre Dame men’s basketball team has received in many years.
Earlier this week coach Micah Shrewsberry secured the commitment of top 100 player Brady Koehler of Indianapolis Cathedral.
The two commitments are a fantastic start for Shrewsberry and the 2025 class for the Irish.
