If there’s been quite a few ups and downs for those following the saga of the 4-star quarterback, this time, it’s gone sideways. Fans have to wonder what it could mean if the latest piece of news has a big impact.

The latest piece of news in question for the Notre Dame football team’s top target is that Knight suffered an undisclosed injury in his latest game last Friday night. So far, there hasn’t been any talk about how long the gunslinger might be out since no one is talking about just what he hurt yet.

Knight was injured during the first quarter, ending his evening sooner than anticipated. After his exit, his team struggled falling to Biloxi, 23-13, at home.

The injury could be nothing at all. However, it’s worth pointing out that the Mississippi native seemingly confirmed something was wrong, tweeting out the facepalm emoji on a quote talking about his injury.

Indeed, if it’s the worst of the worst type, banged up, such as a torn ligament in the knee, it would affect when he could report to camp and such with his new team. If it’s something that will shake out before the end of his senior season, then it will have no impact at all.
