Several other bowlers have achieved speeds over 150 km/h, including Brett Lee and Shaun Tait, both of whom reached 161.1 km/h (100.1 mph). Lee achieved this speed against New Zealand in 2005, while Tait matched it against England in 2010.
Australian bowler Jeff Thomson’s 160.6 km/h (99.8 mph) delivery against the West Indies in 1975 places him among the fastest bowlers ever. Mitchell Starc, another Australian, reached 160.4 km/h (99.7 mph) against New Zealand in 2015.
Andy Roberts, from the West Indies, bowled 159.5 km/h (99.1 mph) against Australia in 1975. Other bowlers who have surpassed the 150 km/h mark include Fidel Edwards, Mitchell Johnson, Mohammad Sami, Shane Bond, Nantie Hayward, Jason Gillespie and Waqar Younis.
