No. 1 Women’s Golf Wraps up Fall Schedule at the SEU Invitational – Keiser University Athletics
The No. 1-ranked Keiser women’s golf team will close out its Fall schedule at the SEU Invitational on Monday, October 28. Played at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Florida (Par 72, 6,010 yards), this year’s invite will feature 10 teams, including six that are currently ranked in the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25. The field will also include all seven Sun Conference teams.
Keiser posted a fifth-place finish at the Saint Leo Invitational last week The Seahawks shot a 13-over, 877, in the 11-team field. Comprised of 10 NCAA Division II teams (eight ranked in the Division II Mizuno WGCA Coaches’ Poll – Oct. 4) and Keiser, the Saint Leo Invitational took place at the Lake Jovita Golf Course and Country Club (North Course) (Par 72, 6,090 yards).
The Seahawks were three strokes back from fourth-place Wingate (NCAA DII – No. 7) and four strokes from third-place Lynn (NCAA DII – No. 12).
Senior Carolin Alblas recorded her second top-5 finish of the season and 10th of her career, finishing tied for fifth with a 3-under, 213 (70-70-73). Also finishing tied for fifth was sophomore Mohea Mansbendel (70-72-71, 213). It marked her first top-5 finish of the 2024-25 season.

1. Carolin Alblas – Sr. / Neuss, Germany
Alblas produced her second top-5 finish of the season and the 10th of her career, tying for fifth at the Saint Leo Invitational last week. The native of Neuss, Germany, shot a 3-under, 213, in the team’s second event of the semester. Alblas is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation by clippd and has an adjusted scoring average of 69.2.
2. Mohea Mansbendel – So. / Noumea, New Caledonia
Mansbendel earned her first top-5 finish of the season (fifth of her Keiser career), shooting a 3-under, 213, during last week’s Saint Leo Invitational. The second-year Seahawks has posted an adjusted scoring average of 71.4 and is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation by clippd.
3. Sophia Sindersberger – Fr. / Switzerland
Sindersberger enters this week’s action one top-10 finish this season over the past two events. The first-year Seahawk has registered an adjusted scoring average of 72.9 and is ranked No. 18 in the nation by clippd.
4. Luz Maria Ardila – Jr. / Bogota, Colombia
Making her 24th appearance with the Seahawks, Ardila has recorded five top-10 finishes during her career. The product of Bogota, Colombia, has tallied a an adjusted scoring average of 74.2 and ranks No. 30 in the nation (clippd)
5. Ziqi Gao – So. / Beijing, China
Gao will be making the fourth appearance of her career on Monday. The native of Beijing, China, has posted an adjusted scoring average of 75.2 and ranks No. 56 in the nation by clippd

- The Seahawks are also No. 1 in the latest NAIA Mizuno WGCA Coaches’ Poll (Oct. 25)
- The Seahawks are coming off a fifth-place finish at the Saint Leo Invitational on Tuesday, October 22.
