The Oregon Football program has hit the transfer portal for yet again another plug-and-play addition. This time, the Ducks went to the transfer portal to land its third offensive prospect in Nevada offensive tackle Isaiah World. He announced his decision on social media.

World made official visits to Texas A&M, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Oregon before locking in on his commitment to the Ducks. He just wrapped up his trip to Eugene for an official visit during the middle of the week.

Oregon has needed to add at least one offensive tackle to the roster next season via the transfer portal with senior right tackle Ajani Cornelius graduating. Junior and starting left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. could also head off to the NFL as an early entry, making the position a big need for the Ducks. World will fill those holes and then some next year.

Signing with Nevada as part of the 2021 recruiting class out of Lincoln High School in San Diego, World has turned himself into the No. 1 tackle prospect in the portal this year. World has started 35 straight games at the tackle positions for Nevada, with his junior and sophomore seasons resulting in All-Mountain West Honorable Mention selections. The 6-foot-8, 309-pound tackle played all 852 snaps this season at left tackle for the Nevada Wolfpack. He played left tackle as a sophomore in 2023 as well, while spending most of his time at right tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2022.

Oregon continues to recruit along the offensive line to help reload a position group that will see three seniors graduate that are within the regular rotation for this coming season: Cornelilus, Nishad Strother, Marcus Harper. The Ducks will likely add another tackle or an offensive line prospect that can play both tackle and guard.

World joins Purdue starting safety Dillon Thieneman, Northwestern starting cornerback Theran Johnson, Texas State starting right tackle Alex Harkey, and Louisville tight end transfer Jabari Johnson in the class.
