BOULDER CITY, Nev. — The Niagara University men’s golf team finds itself in seventh place after two rounds of play at the 2025 Jackrabbit Invitational hosted by South Dakota State at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Purple Eagles posted a team score of 622 (312-310) through 36 holes, sitting 46 strokes behind tournament leader South Dakota State (585).
Sophomore Carlos Henandez led the way for Niagara, carding rounds of 76 and 74 for a 6-over-par total of 150, placing him in a tie for 13th individually. Fellow sophomore Ben Hebert follows closely with a two-round total of 154 (75-79), good for a tie for 34th place.
Andres Rodriguez contributed a 157 (80-77), while Velton Perry and Owen Gauder rounded out the scoring for Niagara with totals of 161 (81-80) and 162 (82-80), respectively.
Competing as an individual, Alfredo Migliorini is tied for 17th place after posting a solid 151 (74-77).
South Dakota State’s Bryson Mercier leads the individual competition with an impressive 8-under-par 136, holding a seven-stroke advantage over his nearest competitor.
