During a week’s break from Detroit Lions football, the other NFC North teams added to their win column and the Honolulu hangover theory is running rampant. But it’s back to business again, and here at Pride of Detroit, our staff has made their picks for not only Thursday night’s game, but the entire slate of Week 6 games.
For a fifth (!) consecutive week, Thursday night’s game is a divisional matchup. This week, it’s between NFC West rivals: the San Francisco 49ers travel north to clash with the Seattle Seahawks. The two will square off for the first time this season on Amazon Prime for “Thursday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. ET.
On Sunday, with the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, and Miami Dolphins all on a bye, the NFL has 12 games scheduled. The NFL London Games series continues this week with another matchup at 9:30 a.m. ET. from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: the London Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Chicago Bears, available on NFL Network.
After some breakfast and football, the Detroit audience will have two games to choose from in the early 1 p.m ET. slot: Arizona Cardinals vs. Green Bay Packers on FOX for those interested in seeing how another NFC North team matches up with a shared opponent, while CBS will be showing a very intriguing between the Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens. At 4:25, FOX will be showing the tilt between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys, live from Jerry’s World and narrated by the musings of Tom Brady. The primetime offering is a contest between the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants on “Sunday Night Football” for an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff on NBC/Peacock.
ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” has a divisional matchup: a Robert Saleh-less New York Jets team hosts the Buffalo Bills at 8:15 p.m. ET.
As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 14 games on the NFL Week 6 schedule:
