For the second time in the first four weeks of the season, the Detroit Lions are playing in primetime at home. Get used to it. It’s the new normal.
While primetime games can be annoying for those covering the games, I cannot deny the pleasure of getting to sit and just enjoy a full day of Sunday NFL football without having to work tirelessly. While Detroit’s history of playing at 1 p.m. ET nearly every week of the season made for a nice routine, I rarely got to watch other teams play as much as I would have liked.
What I’m trying to say is that I don’t take these Lions-less football Sundays for granted. There aren’t many things better than a fall Sunday afternoon spent sitting and watching football for 10 hours, and I’m glad to have that back in my life right now.
So if you’re similarly chilling this Sunday, why not spend it with us during the full day of football? Hang out with your Lions fans in the comment section below and pass your judgment on the games of the day. Here’s a look at the lineup of games this Sunday:
If you’re not in the local Detroit area, you can see which games are playing in your part of the country using the maps over at 506 Sports.
We’ll have a separate thread for Sunday night’s game between the Bills and Ravens.
