The Seattle Seahawks have played two 10 AM PT kickoffs this season and won them both. This is the final early kick of the regular season for Seattle, and it’s against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. I’d say the Seahawks have a good history of winning there, and may that continue this year.
It’s a FOX singleheader week, which means only one game will be shown on the local networks. Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez called last week’s win over the Arizona Cardinals, and they’re on duty again for Seahawks-Jets. Yes, Sanchez will be on hand at the stadium where he used to play, calling a game between his former team (Jets) and the quarterback (Geno Smith) who succeeded him as Jets starter. Kristina Pink will serve as the sideline reporter.
The green section of the 506 Sports map will carry Seahawks vs. Jets on the local FOX affiliate. Normally a New York team commands a lot of national attention, but this year’s Jets don’t get that benefit anymore. Much of the country will see the Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings, which carries a lot of weight for Seahawks fans.
You can check 506 Sports for the rest of the coverage maps, and I really mean the CBS early game since Eagles at Ravens is national. Here’s the full list of TV commentators for the rest of Sunday’s regional action:
Steelers at Bengals – Ian Eagle, Charles Davis
Chargers at Falcons – Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
Titans at Commanders – Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, Jason McCourty
Colts at Patriots – Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
Cardinals at Vikings – Joe Davis, Greg Olsen
Seahawks at Jets – Adam Amin, Mark Sanchez
Texans at Jaguars – Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston
Rams at Saints – Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma
Buccaneers at Panthers – Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth
Eagles at Ravens – Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
During a recent episode of PFT Live, I said I was considering switching allegiances from the Vikings to the Eagles, if only
