Some articles/links that I found interesting on new helmets and caps in the attempt to improve NFL player safety. An April WaPo article on the 12 new helmets, including that 8 are models that are designed for specific position groups.

A WaPo article from three days ago on use of Guardian Caps being required by NFL for all OL, DL, TE, and LBs for practices before preseason games. Article discusses attempt to lower number of concussions and severity of subconcussive impacts.
