The Las Vegas Raiders have fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy following a disappointing 2-7 season that includes a five-game losing streak, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Pelissero has been the offensive coordinator for the Raiders since the beginning of the season after spending two years in Chicago with the Bears.
The Raiders currently rank 24th in the league in total points, with 144 scored this season, and 28th in yards per play. They lead the league in turnovers, with a total of 17.
Pelissero reported that head coach Antonio Pierce felt a change was necessary, with the offensive coordinator being the first to go and more changes expected to follow.

Scott Turner, the former Washington offensive coordinator, has been named as a potential candidate to fill the empty role, per Pelissero.
The firing of Getsy comes on the heels of star defensive end Maxx Crosby publicly expressing his frustrations with the Raiders’ current five-game losing streak.
“It f–kng sucks to lose five in a row,” Crosby said according to The Athletic’s Tashan Reed.
