Bummed fantasy football is over?
Start a new draft today!
The postseason is upon us, which means we have an entire new draft and season to look forward to. Sure, it’s not the same as the regular season marathon. Instead of drafting, making trades and setting a lineup each week, you pick your players and then stick with them for as long as they last. It’s a five-week sprint (including a bye week before the Super Bowl) that begins Saturday and ends when the confetti drops.
So you’ll not only want guys who are capable of putting up big numbers, you’ll want guys who stick around for a couple of three weeks.
The top seeds will be the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions. Obviously these teams are predicted to find some success in the playoffs, but they’re also the only teams with a bye week, so they miss out on a week of scoring. Still, if you draft them, you know you’ll have guys alive in the second round of the playoffs, and those guys will be playing at home until the Super Bowl.
