NFL fans got a pleasant surprise on Tuesday night when Jason Kelce made an appearance on Jeopardy!
The recently-retired Eagles legend has been on ESPN of late after starting his gig on Monday Night Football’s pregame show.
And he showed his TV prowess on Jeopardy! as he made a cameo to read off a clue in the ‘Philadelphia’ category.
The question was related to the city’s famous Broad Street, as he referenced he and his brother Travis’ Billboard hit song ‘Fairytale of Philadelphia’, which mentions the street in the lyrics.
According to the US Mirror, a contestant named Will immediately answered ‘What is Broad Street?’ to win 1,000 points.
Eagles great Jason Kelce made a surprise appearance on Jeopardy! on Tuesday night
He also made a cameo on the show in May, when he was given his very own category
And fans were thrilled to see Kelce on their screen, as they reacted giddily online to his cameo.
‘Jason Kelce just gave a Jeopardy clue,’ one wrote on X. ‘What a win.’
Just saw Jason Kelce on Jeopardy giving a clue!! Neat!,’ another added.
‘Jason Kelce was just on jeopardy again what a king,’ a third fan said.
Kelce was also featured on the show in May, when he was honored with his own category in the Jeopardy Masters’ finale.
The category was called ‘The World Revolves Around Jason Kelce.’
Kelce is not the first football player to appear on the famed trivia show, as Aaron Rodgers hosted several episodes of the show in 2021.
The appearances came after the death of famed host Alex Trebek, with the show employing a rotating cast of hosts to find his replacement.
Jason Kelce denied being drunk during Monday Night Football in his return to Philadelphia
Kelce’s appearance on Jeopardy! was far more subdued than his visit to Philadelphia on Monday.
The Eagles were facing the Falcons on Monday Night Football and Kelce took part in some wild tailgating, with some fans accusing him of being drunk as he danced onstage.
However, he denied being drunk on Monday Night Football in the latest episode of New Heights, and said he had not been drinking during the tailgates.
Kelce and the Monday Night Football crew will be in Cincinnati next week as the Bengals host the Commanders.
