Dalvin Cook made his season debut on Sunday at the 49ers, and the Cowboys running back was seen preparing for the game by drinking an unspecified liquid out of a small bottle.
Many fans online speculated that the four-time Pro Bowler had actually taken a shot of alcohol on the sideline, which came before Dallas’ eventual 30-24 loss to San Francisco.
‘Dalvin cook taking a mini shot of liquor. It’s over for you [m*****f*****s] tonight,’ one wrote on X.
‘Dalvin Cook sneaking in nips of Vodka before the game is HARD,’ another said.
‘Did Dalvin Cook just take a pregame shot on national television???,’ a third asked.

Dalvin Cook had a quiet game for the Cowboys on Sunday night as they fell to the 49ers
And a fourth added, ‘Unc needed some juice.’
Even NBC’s Sunday Night Football broadcast made a joke about the moment, with play-by-play commentator Mike Tirico saying, ‘Dalvin’s getting ready for this one…I guess.’
Mail Sport has reached out to the Cowboys for comment.
Cook, 29, played a supporting role behind fellow running back Ezekiel Elliot in the loss.
The former had six carries for just 12 yards and caught one ball for 10 yards.
Dallas trailed by 17 in the fourth quarter but made a late comeback attempt as a pair of touchdown passes from Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb cut the 49ers’ lead to six following a field goal.
However, Dallas couldn’t get the final score they needed after getting the ball back with 3:05 remaining, and fell to 3-4 on the season.
The 49ers are now 4-4.
