NFL fans are convinced that Justin Tucker’s dip in form this season is not his own fault. He’s the subject of the ‘Kelce Curse’, which started last season. 

Tucker and Travis Kelce had a run-in in January before the Chiefs-Ravens AFC Championship Game, where Kansas City’s designated warmup area was in the spot on M&T Bank Stadium’s turf where Tucker does his pregame stretch and kicking routine. 

Neither party budged on moving, leading Kelce to toss Tucker’s equipment aside to give Patrick Mahomes the necessary room for him to get ready for the conference-championship clash. 

Despite being viewed as one of the NFL’s elite kickers for the last decade, Tucker has a 78.9 percent field-goal percentage this season, 33rd in the NFL. 

Not being a close-to-automatic 3-point machine has made some fans weary of how the Raven got here, with many pointing the finger at Kelce.

Tucker missed his first extra point of the season during Thursday’s win over the Bengals, giving some further proof as to his drop in form. 

Yet, others forget Tucker is still 37-38 on the season on extra points and third in the NFL among kickers for points scored. 

Kelce himself has not been at top form this season, scoring only one touchdown through eight games. 

Not many are calling it a two-way curse, as the Chiefs have not last a game since last Christmas, won last year’s Super Bowl, and are 8-0 this season.  

The Ravens are 7-3 and still a favorite to make a deep playoff run. The Kelce-Tucker feud could write its next playoff chapter in a few months.
