As we approach Week 8 in the NFL it’s all about chalk. After weeks of having the schedule break in a series of confusing matchups we finally have an easy route with some very obvious games.
A total of nine games have unanimous picks among our panel, but there are a few that are very curious. Firstly we head to Maryland, where the Commanders face the Bears. These are two very evenly-matched teams even if their record doesn’t show it. It took a little bit longer for Chicago to find themselves, but are now a force on offense with Caleb Williams hitting his stride.
Sadly we’re robbed of the No. 1 vs. No. 2 draft pick matchup in the NFC with Jayden Daniels missing this week due to injury, so that will have to be on hold. Still, the Commanders didn’t miss a beat with Marcus Mariota under center for the bulk of Week 7 vs. the Panthers, and there will be hope that can continue.
