Qatar Airways has just announced a new ‘Buy Avios’ promotion. When you purchase 60,000 or more, you can earn up to 60% bonus Avios.
Targeted offers vary, but most members are receiving at least a 50% bonus on purchases of 60,000 Avios or more. You’ll need to check your account to see which offer you’ve been targeted for. Let us know in the comments which offer you’ve been targeted for.
Here is the main offer:
The Avios you purchase will be credited directly to your Qatar Airways Privilege Club Account. If you like, you can transfer them to your British Airways account as long as you’ve linked your Qatar and BA accounts together.
If you get the 60% bonus, you’ll pay just 1.09p per Avios, an excellent deal. It’s only worth purchasing Avios with Qatar if you plan to use them. You can often save money on a redemption vs a cash fare even if the Avios are bought. However, although this offer has run before, we can’t guarantee a 60% bonus will be offered again.
Things to Note:
Tip: If you use an Avios-earning credit card to purchase your miles, you can also earn additional Avios to transfer over to the Qatar Privilege Club.
You can buy Avios with Qatar Airways here >>>
If you are considering purchasing Avios through Qatar, before you go ahead, make sure you have a look at the Avios Boost Offer we spoke about yesterday, as you may be able to purchase them for as little as 0.92p per Avios.
