The Newark boys basketball team tips off the season at 1:45 p.m. Saturday as the Wildcats against are playing in the All Ohio High School Hoops Showcase.
Newark is playing Akron Buchtel at Reynoldsburg’s Summit Campus. The game is the second of six to be held at Summit with six other games being played at Reynoldsburg’s Livingston Campus.
Groveport plays Columbus South preceding Newark’s season opener. Pickerington North plays Cincinnati Taft at 3:30 p.m.
