New Ollie’s Bargain Outlet offers another holiday shopping opportunity
QUINCY, Ill. (KHQA) — Quincy residents will have another option ahead of the holiday shopping season, with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet opening in just a few days on Thursday, November 21.
It will be the 15th Ollie’s to open in Illinois, and employees were on-site getting the store ready for business on Sunday, November 17.
The National Retail Federation anticipates a record number of shoppers over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Meanwhile, Americans’ spending during the holiday season has also increased each year since 2010 according to U.S. Census data.
Quincy resident Christopher Ray hopes the store can offer some bargain shopping opportunities.
“Having something like this around the Christmas time is the best time, because then you can get everything you need, and still have the Christmas spirit at home. Spend a little money and actually save a little money,” Ray said.
The store will be located off of Broadway Street next to Planet Fitness.
