CLEVELAND, Ohio — The new jobs report released Friday was an ‘October Surprise’ being better than expected and defying the Trump-Vance campaign lies about the state of the economy, as have the stock market highs.
In September the economy added 254,000 news jobs, far more than expected. So that ‘October Surprise’ announced Friday was about a September surprise. The Unemployment rate also dropped to 4.1% from 4.2%.
Keeping with the surprise theme of October, President Biden on Friday also made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room. While answering a few questions, President Biden debunked Sen. Marco Rubio refuting the good news as “another fake jobs report from the Biden-Harris government.”
“Anything the MAGA Republicans don’t like, they call fake. Anything. Jobs numbers are what the jobs numbers are. They’re real,” said President Biden.
Sen. Rubio and MAGA Republicans also won’t like if in November two more new jobs are announced: President Kamala Harris and Vice President Tim Walz.
