WORLEY, Idaho – The North Dakota State women’s golf team is in sixth place after the first round of play at the Eagle Invitational on Sunday at Circling Raven Golf Club.
The Bison posted a +9 in the opening round and sit in sixth place in the 13-team tournament. CSU Northridge carded a -2 and is in first place.
Elise Hoven paces NDSU with a 70 (-2) and is tied for second place on the par 72 course. Norah Roberts finished +2 and is tied for 17th place, while Madi Hicks is one stroke back slotted tied for 28th place with a +3.
Hannah Dunk is tied for 42nd place with a +6 and Cora Larson is tied for 54th place with a +7. Anna Huettl also competed as an individual and is tied for 71st place with a +11.
The tournament shifted from a 54-hole format to a 36-hole event due to course conditions. NDSU will finish play at the Eagle Invitational tomorrow.
