KAPOLEI, Hawaii – The North Dakota State women’s golf team moved up to eighth place after the second round of action at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Tuesday at Kapolei Golf Club.
Norah Roberts (73-72–145), Hannah Dunk (76-69–145) and Avery Bartels (73-72–145) all climbed up the leaderboard and sit tied for 24th place after two rounds of play. Roberts posted an even 72 on day two with one birdie, while Dunk recorded a season-best 69 (-3) with two birdies and an eagle. Bartels also finished the round with an even 72 with three birdies.
Elise Hoven (73-75–148) is slotted tied for 38th place, while Madi Hicks (78-75–153) is positioned tied for 66th place.
Anna Huettl (73-77–150) is tied for 49th place and Cora Larson (74-77–151) is tied for 58th place. Lily Vincelli (77-76–153) is also tied for 66th place and Jo Baranczyk (79-81–160) closes out the group of individuals tied for 86th place.
As a team, the Bison (295-288–583) are in eighth place in 15-team tournament. Colorado State (276-288–564) and Kansas State (287-277–564) are tied for the top spot after two rounds of play.
