The Oklahoma City Thunder collected an improbable 120-114 win over the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. Both squads were red-hot with extensive win streaks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the sole difference. He scored a career-high-tying 45 points on 15-of-22 shooting. He hit the dagger stepback 3-pointer that likely should’ve drawn a foul against Bennedict Mathurin with 59 seconds left.
Last year’s MVP runner-up hopes to go over the hump this season. Dragging the Thunder to a win will help with that.
