NBA Rumors: 76ers’ Nick Nurse, Daryl Morey Safe Despite Embiid Drama, 2-11 Record

The Philadelphia 76ers are a mess. The team, embroiled in a 2-11 start, reportedly held a team meeting on Monday night that included Tyrese Maxey calling out Joel Embiid for chronic tardiness to team activities, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Despite this latest batch of drama surrounding the Sixers, however, Sam Amick, David Aldridge and Jared Weiss of The Athletic reported on Tuesday that there is “no internal discussion at this point regarding the job status of coach Nick Nurse or president of basketball operations Daryl Morey.”
