NBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, January 12th

New Orleans Pelicans vs Boston Celtics

Start Time – 6:00 PM EST

We’ve got the league’s second-worst team on the road visiting the league’s third-best team. And, as I’ve done consistently this season, I’m fading the New Orleans Pelicans once again (they would be the second-worst team I mentioned above, FYI).

The Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram and Herb Jones tomorrow, with Dejounte Murray questionable for the game, as well. The Celtics should roll tomorrow evening – my numbers have them favored by 20.5 points.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Orlando Magic

Start Time – 6:00 PM EST

Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has finally returned to the court after three months on the sidelines and picked up where he left off, scoring 34 points (after missing 34 games) in his return game. This makes me like the Magic even more tomorrow at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers may be without Joel Embiid once again tomorrow, which is no surprise. Orlando is one of the league’s best teams at home and should be expected to win by eight points on Sunday.
