Brooklyn Nets vs Washington Wizards

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

We’ve got quite a few stinky matchups on Monday’s NBA schedule, with none more stinkier than this one. The Washington Wizards are the league’s worst team – by far – and they’ll be without five key players tomorrow.

Yet we’re getting a playable line on the Brooklyn Nets here, so I’m jumping on it. My line is Brooklyn -5, and that’s without taking into account all of Washington’s injuries.

Best Bet: Brooklyn -3 (-107)

Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

This game isn’t much better, pitting two mediocre Eastern Conference teams against each other. But we don’t need to actually watch these blech games to bet and win on them. And we’re going to win on this one.

We’re going with the home team – the Atlanta Hawks – to beat the visiting Miami Heat. The Hawks aren’t that good at home, but the Miami Heat aren’t that good on the road, either. My line here is Atlanta -1.5, so getting them as a home dog against a Heat team going nowhere is good with me.
