Confirming last month’s leaks, the NBA officially unveiled three of the four uniform designs that will be worn during the 2025 All-Star Game, which will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco on Feb. 16 (8 p.m. ET on TNT).

The Jordan Brand uniforms draw inspiration from Oakland and San Francisco, the two Bay Area cities the Golden State Warriors have called home since moving from Philadelphia ahead of the 1962 season.

The light and navy blue versions feature a vertical “All-Star” wordmark on the jersey that was influenced by the marquee on Oakland’s Fox Theatre, while the waistband includes the same image of an oak tree that appeared on the Warriors’ 2017-19 Statement, 2018-19 Earned and 2019-20 City Edition uniforms.

The red version, as well as the unreleased white version that will be worn by the winner of the Rising Stars Tournament (more on that in a minute), prominently displays a slanted “All-Star” wordmark that mimics a cable car climbing up over the hills in San Francisco and a matching cable car on waistband.

All four uniforms have an asymmetrical striping pattern down the sides of the jerseys and around the bottom of the shorts, with the light and navy blue versions imitating the roots Oakland’s iconic oak trees and the red and white versions highlighting the cable car lines that wind through San Francisco.

The uniforms are complete with a star-shaped All-Star patch on the back collar and side of the shorts, incorporating a silhouette of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge along the top and lines throughout that are reminiscent of the Golden Gate Bridge. 

As mentioned, this year’s All-Star Game features a new four-team format, with the All-Stars divided into three teams of eight, while the fourth team will be the winner of the Rising Stars Tournament, which will be held on Feb. 14 and is comprised of first- and second-year players.

Both semifinal games and the championship round will play to a target score of 40, with each player on the winning team receiving a $125,000 prize. Players on the second-place team will get $50,000, while players on the two semifinalists get $25,000 apiece.

Traditionally, the All-Star Game pitted players from the Eastern and Western conferences but had the leading vote-getters choose their teams from 2018-23 before returning to an East vs West format last season.

The court for this year’s game, meanwhile, follows the lead of the vibrant NBA Cup courts, with Golden State’s blue and gold color scheme instead of a traditional woodgrain design and sublimated imagery, such as the Bay Bridge that stretches from baseline to baseline.

A pattern of stars and basketballs surround the bridge and seemingly include rings like an oak tree. They spill over into the out-of-bounds area, which includes a “San Francisco Bay Area” wordmark and the aforementioned cable car lines on the baselines.
