Denver Nuggets superstar Jamal Murray has put pen to paper on a huge new four-year $208million maximum contract extension, according to reports.
The mammoth deal, first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, guarantees Murray $244m over the next five seasons.
He won the NBA title with the Nuggets in 2023, and more recently represented Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The 27-year-old is now kept out of free agency, with his previous contract set to end next summer.
After recovering from a torn ACL that saw him miss the entirety of the 2021-22 season, he has formed a formidable partnership with three-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

Murray is one of just eight players in NBA history to have multiple 50-point games, and is the Nuggets’ all-time leader in made three-pointers.
Last season, he was one of three players to average 20 points, six assists and 40% three-point shooting.
He was selected No 7 overall in the 2016 draft by the Nuggets, and has not played anywhere other than Denver in his seven-season NBA career.
