Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese will make their NBA 2K debut when the newest version of the popular video game is released next month.
But 2K is getting the hype train going early by releasing what two of the WNBA’s newest stars will look like in the game.
The popular video game maker posted what Clark and Reese will look like in NBA 2K25 in a pair of posts on X on Wednesday, with both posts getting hundreds of thousands of views on the platform.
“A game-changer in every way,” read the post which included the image of Clark.
“Chi Barbie got the Windy City buzzing,” the post about Reese said.
Clark’s presence in the WNBA has helped lift the league to unprecedented heights since she was taken No. 1 overall by the Fever earlier this year.
But Reese has forged her own path in her rookie season, becoming a force to be reckoned with in Chicago.
Reese is averaging 13.5 points per game and 11.9 rebounds per game while shooting 40.2 percent from the field.
She had also set a WNBA record with 15 consecutive double-doubles before the Olympic break.
Clark has dominated the WNBA with 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game while also shooting a tad above 40 percent.
Both players are in the running to be the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year.
With just 16 games in the season left, the Fever and Sky are in a tight race for positioning, adding an extra element to the budding professional rivalry between the two women’s hoops stars.
NBA 2K25 will be released to the general public on Sept. 6.
