The chaos surrounding the release of College Football 25 has finally settled down after taking over the sports world back in July, 11 years after NCAA Football 14 was released in 2013. That was followed quickly by Madden NFL 25 this past week, EA Sports’ professional equivalent of the popular video game series. We saw where the current Kentucky players are ranked in CFB25, as well as the former in Madden — KSR compiled all of those on Saturday, headlined by Josh Hines-Allen with an overall rating of 91 to lead all Cats.
Up next? NBA 2K25, with a worldwide release set for September 6, 2024. Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is the standard cover athlete with Las Vegas Aces standout A’ja Wilson joining him on the All-Star Edition, the latter alone on the WNBA Edition. NBA legend Vince Carter will also have his own cover on the Hall of Fame Edition.
But you don’t care about that part. You only care about the former Cats and how they stack up with the rest of the league — specifically this rookie class headlined by none other than Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham and Antonio Reeves.
We don’t know the complete lineup quite yet, but Ronnie 2K did release the complete rookie class rankings, including that trio of drafted Kentucky stars.
How did our guys do? Sheppard came in ranked No. 3 overall with a 73 rating, followed by Dillingham at No. 7 with a 72 rating. And then Reeves enters the conversation down the list a bit at No. 49 overall with a 68 rating.
Check out the complete rookie ratings — which, yes, also include Bronny James.
