NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Mt. Juliet Police Department announced the arrest of a man wanted on an aggravated assault charge out of Nashville overnight into Wednesday.
MJPD reports that a 24-year-old Nashville man wanted for strangulation was arrested during a traffic stop near a popular Mt. Juliet shopping center on Mt. Juliet Road.
An officer discovered the warrant after stopping a vehicle for an improperly displayed registration plate. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
“We’re thankful for our officers’ hard work and dedication to keeping crime out of Mt. Juliet and ensuring our community remains safe,” MJPD said.
