Winter weather in East Central Indiana has begun to impact the local high school sports schedule.
A strong winter storm brought snow to much of Indiana on Sunday night and Monday morning, forcing Shenandoah boys basketball to postpone its Jan. 7 contest against Madison-Grant. Additional snow on Friday forced the postponement of many more games throughout the Muncie area.
Snow is expected to continue throughout Friday with 1-3 inches expected.

Shenandoah’s boys Jan. 7 home game against Madison-Grant was rescheduled for Feb. 11, according to Shenandoah’s boys basketball X account.
Yorktown’s boys basketball road game at Westfield, originally set for Friday, Jan. 10, was rescheduled for Jan. 21.
Wapahani’s Friday night game against Eastern Hancock has been canceled with no makeup time announced.
Delta’s home game against Hoosier Heritage Conference rival New Palestine has been moved from Friday night at 7:30 p.m. to Saturday night, Jan. 11, at 6 p.m.
Shenandoah’s girls basketball game against Knightstown in the Henry County Tournament on Friday night was rescheduled for Saturday.
