Multiple graded-stakes winner Didia is retired at age 7

Didia, the Argentina-bred mare who won four graded stakes in the U.S., is being retired at age 7.
John Stewart of owner Resolute Racing posted on X that she had been moved to the Midway, Ky., farm and will be bred to Nyquist. Thoroughbred Daily News reported the retirement Thursday evening.
Didia had won four Group 1 or 2 stakes in a row in Argentina before being moved to the U.S. and trainer Ignacio Correas IV. She won five of her first six starts in the U.S., including the Grade 2 Rodeo Drive and Modesty ((G2), with a runner-up effort in the New York (G1), and finished the year with a 10th-place showing in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
Didia opened 2024 with a win in the Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf Invitational (G2) and went on to win the New York last summer. In her final start, she was third by a half-length and a nose in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
Didia, campaigned by Merriebelle Stable and Resolute, has a record of 20-11-2-2 and earnings of $1,758,484.
