“What a special week for us serving as host of the White Sands Collegiate at The Ocean Club,” coach Sean Covich said. “Everyone in the Bahamas was amazing and made us all feel welcome. Congratulations to the College of Charleston on some incredible golf this week.
“We didn’t play our best yet again, but some guys had bright moments. We need to continue to work hard both on our golf skills and mental skills this offseason if we want to be back in consideration for the NCAA postseason. There is certainly a lot of improvement needed between now and February.”
The Mountaineers will be off from competition until the spring season begins on Feb. 3 at the Battle of Briar’s Creek in John’s Island, South Carolina.
