From November 25 to 27, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) shone in Doha as the main sponsor of the third edition of the Qatar Travel Mart (QTM). This event is part of the «Qatar-Morocco Years of Culture 2024», an initiative aimed at strengthening cultural and tourist exchanges between the two nations.
A major event in the tourism industry, the Qatar Travel Mart brought together key players in the sector, including tour operators, airlines, and technology companies. The 2024 edition highlighted trends in business, leisure, and luxury tourism.
During this fair, Morocco was awarded the prize for the destination offering the «Best Cultural Experience», a recognition that acknowledges the efforts of the ONMT to position the Kingdom as an essential destination. This award also reflects the success of the Moroccan cultural exhibition in Qatar, notably the Dar El Maghreb Pavilion and the exhibition «The Splendors of the Atlas», showcasing 200 rare pieces.
The ONMT engaged in numerous exchanges during the various parallel activities, consolidating strategic alliances with key Qatari operators. The objective was to strengthen Morocco’s presence in the Qatari and regional tourism market while creating sustainable synergies to attract a wider audience.
