Network registers highest regular season single-game ratings in more than eight seasons for yesterday’s game against Indiana
Washington, D.C. (September 20, 2024) – Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) registered its highest viewership in more than eight seasons for a regular season WNBA game during Thursday’s season finale at Capital One Arena between the Washington Mystics and Indiana Fever. Washington concluded the 2024 regular season with a 92-91 win.
Yesterday’s telecast was Monumental Sports Network’s most watched WNBA regular season broadcast since at least 2017 and Monumental Sports Network outperformed ESPN by 78% and FOX by 40% in the Washington, D.C. market during the game (P2+). With our innovative programming and dedication to showcasing the Mystics, we look forward to continuing to elevate the WNBA experience for our audience.”
Last night’s game set a new milestone as the largest attended game in WNBA history with 20,711 fans in attendance. The previous mark was set by Washington during the 1999 season.

Last year, the Mystics became the first WNBA team to feature a dedicated pre and postgame show for every regional game broadcast, and Mystics Pregame Live took home a Capital Emmy Award in June.
