Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze celebrates 20 years in Croton-on-Hudson

Talk about a monster mash-up: Miniature golf that’s a perfect fit for the Halloween season.
The place is called Monster Mini Golf and it offers various activities in Yonkers’ Ridge Hill Mall, at 221 Market St., on the second floor.
“Putt your way past creepy gargoyles, navigate through haunted graveyards, and avoid the clutches of lurking monsters as you make your way through our uniquely themed course,” Monster Mini-Golf’s website said, adding: “We’ve taken the beloved game of mini-golf and turned it into an out-of-this-world experience with a monstrous twist.”
The space and is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
There are multiple Monster Mini Golf locations around the country, and each includes a golf course where animated monsters “move, talk and at times tell silly jokes. The black lights bring to life world class hand-painted, locally inspired artwork depicting sites and symbols unique to each location to give local flavor,” the website said.
The indoor, glow-in-the-dark space that includes an 18-hole miniature golf course will “immerse you in a spine-chilling atmosphere filled with larger-than-life monster-themed decor, eerie sounds, and mind-bending neon lights,” according to the website.

According to the website, mini-golf is $13 for “little monsters,” $14 for “big monsters” and $11 for seniors, people in the military, and college students with valid ID.
It’s $5 for five frames of mini-bowling.
A combination of activities includes $20 for a mini-golf round and an arcade card, as well as $23 for a mini-golf round, a game of bowling and an arcade card.
