The 5-year-old Atreides mare breezed three furlongs in 36.18 seconds, fourth fastest of five at the distance.
Soul of an Angel is the first Breeders’ Cup winner for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. The victory followed a win in the Princess Rooney (G2), and she won the Ruffian (G2) in May for her only other graded-stakes scores.
Soul of an Angel was one of 16 graded-stakes winners with published works Monday.
