SOMERSWORTH – The Winnacunnet High School golf team, led by Brayden Emery’s 1-over-par 36, won the annual Seacoast Cup on Monday at the The Oaks.
Winnacunnet had a team score of 197, beating Portsmouth (200), St. Thomas Aquinas (210) and Oyster River (218).
Portsmouth’s Grey Gagnon shot a medalist round of even-par 35.
Chris Berry shot a 38 for the Warriors, while Jimmy Schouller had a 40, Elliott Brinser a 41 and Alex Santora and Greyson Belliveau each had a 42.
For Portsmouth, Gus Baker shot a 38, Noah Weeks a 41, and Thijs Beelen and Grant Haberstroh both shot a 43.
For St. Thomas, Ryan Allard had a 38, Cooper Coate and Shawn Turcott both had a 42, Finn Perry had a 43, and Joe Mollica, Kendall Wishart and Andrew McMorrow all had a 45.
Oyster River’s Jackson Follis shot a 38 and Owen Jacques had a 42.
Exeter places second in three-team meet
ROCHESTER – Exeter’s Jascha Johnston shot an even-par medalist round of 36 and Jack Rackliffe shot a 40 for Exeter at Rochester Country Club.
Salem won with a team score of 201, while Exeter (204) and (211) placed second and third, respectively.
