Williamstown High School tag day
Williamstown Middle High School Athletic Boosters will be conducting their annual tag day. Student athletes will be canvassing the town and surrounding Williamstown area asking for donations.
All participants will be wearing Williamstown team apparel and have lanyards identifying them.

Marietta High School Athletic Hall of Fame
The Marietta High School Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Lafayette Hotel.
This year’s class includes Tom Baker (1960), Jerry Brock (coach), Shawna Daugherty (1995), Scott Strahler (1998), Bill Ross Jr. (1979), and the late William Whetsell (1963).
The inductees will also be recognized during the home varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 27.

Tickets for the event, which includes a buffet dinner, are $40 each. Table sponsorships, which include up to eight tickets, are also available for $300 each.

Warren To Honor Historic Football Teams
The players, cheerleaders, managers, and coaches on the Pioneer Valley League football championship teams for the 1963-64, 1964-65, and 1965-66 Warren High School classes will be honored before the Sept. 20 football game with Paintsville, Ky. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Also invited are those people with the first Warren football team (1961-62) under coach Vince Scragg and the 1962-63 team under coach Ron Rice.
Sign-in will be at the stadium main gate at 5:30 p.m. and with the ceremony at 6:15 on the stadium field.

Parkersburg South Hoops Pancake Breakfast
Parkersburg South Boys Basketball and Washington Bottom Lions Club will be co-hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8-11 a.m. at the Washington Bottom Community Building.
The food will be provided and prepared by the Washington Bottom Lions Club while members of the Parkersburg South boys basketball team, grades 9-12, will be on hand to service the tables.
Tickets are $5 per person, sold at the door or available from any Parkersburg South Boys Basketball Player.
