Michigan vs Michigan State basketball: Time, TV, announcers, line for big rivalry game

The No. 13 Michigan State Spartans will make the short trip to Ann Arbor on Friday to take on the No. 12 Michigan Wolverines.

Both teams have made big improvements from the previous season. The Spartans have already eclipsed last season’s regular season win total and helped etch head coach Tom Izzo’s name into the Big Ten history books.

Michigan, who had one of its worst seasons in program history last season, has long since surpassed its total victories from a year ago and sits atop of the Big Ten conference.

Friday’s matchup marks the eighth game where both teams have been nationally ranked in the top-15 dating back to 2013. The Wolverines enter the contest with six straight victories and Michigan State has won back-to-back games against Illinois and Purdue. In the 194 previous matchups, Michigan leads the MSU 104-90.
