Mexico Man Arrested For DWI After Alleged Incident In West Plaza Shopping Center Parking Lot
A Mexico man was taken to the Audrain County Jail after an DWI arrest during the morning hours of Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025.
According to the Mexico Public Safety news release, officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the parking lot of West Plaza Shopping Center shortly before 9am.
Responding personnel found 58-year-old Leslie G. Rosenthal near his red, 1996 Thunderbird.
There was light smoke in the area, but not fire.
An investigation indicated that Rosenthal had been intentionally spinning his vehicle’s tires, leaving black marks on the parking lot.
Rosenthal was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Aggravated Offender).
There were no injuries from the incident
