The Men’s Golf team will be on familiar grounds next week when the Trojans host the Everett Buick GMC Classic on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 14-15) at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. A field of 16 teams will compete in Rounds 1-2 on Monday and the final round Tuesday on the 7,115-yard Par 72 Founders Course.
Little Rock will be joined by Ball State, Central Arkansas, Kansas City, Lamar, Lipscomb, Louisiana, Memphis, North Texas, Oral Roberts, SIUE, South Carolina, Southern Illinois, Troy, UAB, and ULM. Both days will have a shotgun start with Monday beginning at 8:30 am and Tuesday teeing off at 9 am. Live scoring can be found at the link below.

The Trojans are coming off their best performance of the season, finishing fourth in a very strong 15-team field at the Fighting Irish Classic in Indiana. Matteo Cristoni took a runner-up finish on the individual leaderboard, with a final score of 4-under. Cristoni was named OVC Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
Last year, the Trojans finished third at this event, one stroke behind second-place Troy. LSU took the team title. Magnus Loholt (-5) was the top Little Rock golfer, finishing ninth. Cristoni and Rhett South were tied for 13th.
