AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University Division I men’s golf team has unveiled its 2024-2025 schedule. Southland Conference Coach of the Year Steven Paine returns at the helm of the Jaguars as the team gears up for the new season starting September 16th.
The Jaguars will kick off the new schedule at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio, from September 16-17. Augusta will then travel to Chicago, Illinois, to compete in the Windon Memorial hosted by Northwestern on September 29.
Following their time in Illinois, the team will head to South Bend, Indiana, for Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish Classic, taking place from October 6-8. The Jaguars will then move on to Wilmington, North Carolina, to participate in the Williams Cup hosted by the University of North arolina from October 20-22, rounding out their fall schedule.
The spring season begins on February 3-4 with the College of Charleston’s Battle at Briar’s Creek in Charleston, South Carolina. This event marks the start of a busy spring for Augusta, with the Border Olympics in Laredo, Texas, following on February 17-18.
March will see the Jaguars at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Florida, from March 10-12. They will then return to Georgia for the Linger Longer Invitational in Eatonton from March 16-18.
The Valspar Collegiate Invitational in Palm City, Florida, is set for March 24-26 and will be hosted by the University of Houston. Augusta will host the 44th edition of their home tournament, the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational presented by Valspar, from April 5-6 at Forest Hills Golf Club – the home of the Jaguars. Augusta will conclude its regular season at the Southland Conference Golf Championship in Kerrville, Texas, from April 18-20.
The NCAA Regional tournaments will take place from May 12-14 at six predetermined locations. The NCAA finals are scheduled for May 23-28 in Carlsbad, California, hosted at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa – Champions Course.
