GREENVILLE, SC — The Georgia State Men’s Golf team finished 11th at the Furman Intercollegiate, held at the Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, South Carolina. The Panthers posted a total score of 878 (+26) over three rounds, with scores of 298 (+14), 296 (+12), and an even-par 284 in the final round.
Top Performers for Georgia State:
Connor MacMillan led the Panthers with a tie for 28th place, finishing at +2 (215). He shot rounds of 72 (+1), 75 (+4), and a stellar final round of 69 (-3).
Cameron Jackson finished tied for 33rd with a score of +3 (216), posting rounds of 72 (+1), 74 (+3), and 70 (-1) in the final round.
Jordan Jung tied for 37th at +4 (217), with rounds of 74 (+3), 74 (+3), and 69 (-2).
Brody Tidwell finished tied for 79th with a total of 230 (+17), including a final round of 77 (+6).
Daniel Medellin finished in 87th place with a score of 239 (+26), recording rounds of 84 (+13), 78 (+7), and 77 (+6).
Texas A&M took home the team title with an impressive total of 829 (-23), while Wake Forest’s Scotty Kennon claimed individual honors with a score of -11.
The Panthers will look to build on their strong final round performance as they prepare for the Spring Season, starting Feb.1 with the Thomas Sharkey Individual.
